MoTap Terms of Service

Welcome to MoTap! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MoTap mobile application (“MoTap”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using MoTap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What MoTap Does
MoTap allows users to:
Upload or record short videos
Extract and decorate frames with text and stickers
Create tappable flipbook-style story content for platforms like Instagram and Facebook
Share exported content via social channels
Invite friends to use the app via email, phone, or QR code
MoTap is invite-only and may limit user activity (e.g., invites per week or export credits) depending on your plan.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use MoTap. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the app. By using MoTap, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. User Content and Rights
a. Your Content
Any video, text, sticker layout, or other media you create using MoTap remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your MoTaps.
b. Storage
We do not store your videos or generated frames on our servers. All media remains local to your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
c. Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
The content you upload or create in MoTap
Ensuring you have the rights to use all video, audio, images, or text
Complying with community standards and local laws
We reserve the right to revoke access if content violates legal or ethical guidelines.
4. Account Access and Invites
You may be required to create an account using your phone or email.
MoTap limits users to 2 invites per week, and this limit is enforced across invite types (email, phone, QR).
Invite status (pending/redeemed) is visible from your profile.
We reserve the right to revoke, limit, or suspend accounts suspected of abuse, fraud, or misuse.
5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Credits
Certain features (like exports or advanced tools) may require credits or a paid plan.
All purchases are processed securely through the App Store or Google Play.
Credits and subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law.
Lifetime or agency plans are subject to the terms at time of purchase.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use MoTap to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app’s functionality
Violate platform guidelines for Instagram, Facebook, or other social networks
Circumvent credit systems or invite limits
7. Intellectual Property
MoTap, including its name, branding, code, and original graphics, is the intellectual property of [Your Company Name]. You may not reproduce or reuse any part of the app without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
MoTap is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. While we strive for reliability and accuracy, we do not guarantee:
That the app will function without errors or downtime
That your content will always export successfully or meet third-party platform requirements
Use at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoTap and its developers shall not be liable for:
Any indirect or incidental damages
Loss of data, content, or access
Platform restrictions or takedowns resulting from use of MoTap
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective Date” and may notify you through the app. Continued use of MoTap after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using MoTap at any time.
